BODY IS HOME

Embodied Living, Creative Expression, and Dreaming Together

You cannot think your way into change.

What truly matters are your actions: how you move, express, and focus each day. Through these actions, you choose your experience and shape your life.

Learn how to create coherence between body and mind, intention and action, so you can reclaim your personal power and experience having choice and possibility. I support you in this process with Body-Mind Integration sessions, a powerful blend of hands-on bodywork and somatic coaching.

My Philosophy

A Different Way of Being

I know there is a different way of being. In this state, you’re not stuck in your head, merely observing life from a distance, as though you are separate from it. When you’re at home in your body, you experience yourself as:

Grounded: Deeply rooted in your physical presence and Earth.
Alive: Embracing flow instead of stagnation – allowing for energy and movement.
Present: Living from a place of intimate connection with life as it unfolds.

Coming home to our bodies is the only way to fully arrive in life, to participate in the world, and to fulfill our deepest potential. It’s about expressing ourselves openly, sensing the aliveness within each cell, and having access to innate creativity, playfulness, and joy.

This doesn’t mean life is without challenge. Challenges and difficulties remain, but with embodiment, you will be more flexible, resilient, creative, and better equipped to move with life as it presents itself.

In a world where independence is an illusion and all things are intertwined, coming home to the body means belonging – to the world and to the greater web of life.

“Embodiment is not about noticing the body, or listening to it. It’s not about adding one more thing to the list of things we should think about or pay attention to. It is another way of paying attention. It is another way of thinking. It is another way of being.”

– Philip Shepherd, Author of Radical Wholeness

About me

I’m Svenja, a bodywork practitioner & somatic coach, podcast host, writer, and poet. Exploring the mystery and wisdom of the body is both my path and my purpose: it’s where I’ve found support and beauty through difficult times, and continue to expand my own capacity for presence, aliveness, and connection.

My work is rooted in the belief that there is more to being human than thinking. There’s sensing and feeling, dreaming and breathing. There’s a different way of being we can sink into when we learn to trust our bones and allow our energy to move freely. I’m here to support you on this path, to resonate with you, breathe with you, and hold space for whatever arises – laughter, tears, and all the in-between.
